The FIFA Football Agent Exam: what you are sitting
The FIFA Football Agent Exam is the knowledge test behind the mandatory global licence to work as a football agent. The licence was reintroduced by the FIFA Football Agent Regulations (FFAR), in force since 9 January 2023, with a 2025 edition in force from 1 January 2025 and a further edition applying for 2026. Only licensed natural persons may provide football agent services anywhere in the world, and the exam is the gate. There are no educational or professional prerequisites, and lawyers, accountants and former players receive no exemption from it.

| Retakes | Unlimited, across editions, paying the fee each time. |
The syllabus is the official study materials — roughly 500 to 1,000 pages across seven regulatory areas: the FFAR; the Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP); the Clearing House Regulations; the Statutes; the Code of Ethics; the Disciplinary Code with the Football Tribunal’s procedural rules; and the FIFA Guardians child-safeguarding toolkit, plus designated circulars. This course has one module for each area where the marks lie, and its final draws 20 items at 75% exactly as the real exam does.
Pass rates: 52% at the first exam in April 2023 (1,962 of 3,800 candidates), falling to roughly 18–20% by 2025 as standards tightened. Most failures are navigation failures — candidates who know the material but cannot find the article in time — which is why every module here ends with the numbers you must know cold.
