The real course: Performance Analysis Level 3

This badge mirrors the Professional Football Scouts Association’s advanced analysis course, Level 3 Performance Analysis. Levels 1 and 2 taught the analyst’s own craft: the analysis cycle, coding and KPIs, post-match and opposition work, xG, live analysis and analysis for recruitment. Level 3 turns outwards. It is built around one question: how does performance analysis integrate with the other disciplines of an elite football club?

Level 3 Performance Analysis
EntryLevel 2 is expected first.
Module 1The disciplines that integrate with performance analysis: what the multi-disciplines in football are, and what each offers the analyst.
Module 2The roles of different disciplines within elite football: “Your Feedback vs Reality” sessions for the Head of Recruitment, the Physio, the Psychologist and the Sport Scientist.
Module 3How disciplines work together: sharing data with the Head of Recruitment, working with a physio, working with a psychologist, sharing information with a sport scientist.
FormatTutor-led, over two live Zoom sessions, taught by the leads of higher-education performance-analysis programmes with guest analysts from elite clubs.
AssessmentCourse assessments, then a certificate. No expiry.
What it qualifies you forSenior performance analyst work in a multi-disciplinary elite environment.

You are taking it as a manager, not as an analyst. Your analysts sit between your coaches, your head of recruitment, your medical staff, your sport scientists and your psychologist. This course teaches what each of them needs from analysis, what each can give it back, and where each one’s job ends.
