The Level 2 course

FA National Talent Identification & Scouting in Football (formerly Talent ID Level 2) builds on the introductory course and introduces the working principles of scouting: match reporting, building and developing relationships, and analysing performance against potential, plus more sophisticated scouting strategies and managing the talent-identification environment at your club.

The typical practical tasks show what the course expects: observe one half focusing on a named midfielder through the five game moments, produce a one-page report, and peer-review another scout’s report for the quality of its evidence and for bias.
