01Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Touchline Logic (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website and game. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR. For the purposes of that law, we are the data controller.
02Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Account data — your username, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Gameplay data — your clubs, tactics, match history, and progression.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and similar information collected automatically.
- Usage data — how you interact with the service, collected only where you have allowed analytics cookies.
03How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the service, including matchmaking and save sync;
- verify match integrity and prevent cheating or abuse;
- communicate with you about your account and important service updates; and
- improve the game and website, where you have consented to analytics.
04Legal Bases for Processing
We rely on the following legal bases: contract, to provide the service you sign up for; legitimate interests, to keep the service secure and to prevent fraud and cheating; consent, for optional analytics and advertising cookies; and legal obligation, where we must process data to comply with the law.
05Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies to make the service work and, with your consent, optional cookies for analytics and advertising. You can change your choice at any time on our Cookie Policy page, which explains each category in detail.
06Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate the service (for example hosting and payment processing), and only as needed for them to perform their work. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
07Data Retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records.
08Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and hashed password storage. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
09Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data;
- ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances;
- object to or restrict certain processing; and
- request a copy of your data in a portable format.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK.
10Children's Privacy
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside the UK. Where it is, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as standard contractual clauses, so that your data continues to be protected to the standard required by law.
12Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
