01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and Touchline Logic (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, accessing the website, or playing the game, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

02Description of Service

Touchline Logic is a deterministic football management game and the surrounding website, accounts, and community features (together, the “service”). We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available or free of errors.

03User Accounts

To play, you must register an account and keep your details accurate. You are responsible for your account, including:

• keeping your password confidential and secure;
• all activity that takes place under your account; and
• telling us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

04Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorised software to gain an unfair advantage;
• disrupt the service, other players, or the integrity of matches;
• harass, abuse, or post unlawful or offensive content; or
• attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.

Because the engine is deterministic, match integrity matters to everyone. We may investigate suspected breaches and take action where necessary.

05Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, and what each tier includes are shown on the Pricing page and may change with reasonable notice. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Payment processing is handled by a third-party provider once that integration is live.

06Intellectual Property

The service, including the engine, software, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service except as the law allows.

07User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create, such as tactical setups, replays, and community posts. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use it to operate and promote the service. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm that you have the right to share it.

08Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends, though some provisions (such as those on intellectual property and liability) continue to apply.

09Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give reasonable notice, for example by posting the updated Terms here with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

11Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
